Sugar B’s
I got a little hyped on a 5 hour energy and lost myself a little. I wrote a script even. This is what it looked like:
Girl: I’ve got a sugar butt!!
Guy: Whats a sugar butt??
Girl turns her butt, sticking it out, looking all perky and squishy. She has her arms cocked in and fists near her face with a big dopey open mouthed smile and motioning the guy to bite her butt.
Guy bites butt. Close up shot of guy in blissful, wide eyed… bliss. Like puking rainbow bliss only not.
Second strip.
Guy turns and pukes HARD. Over the top hard. Turns to the girl, she has a mortified look on her face. Disbelief that her sugar butt is unlikeable.
Guy: You lied!! You-FUCK oh gawd it’s in my mouth! I can’t get it- The grain!! THE GRAIN!! Gritty hell is in my mouth!! Soggy sand!! *Pauses for a panel* Then pukes so hard it knocks the girl out of frame. Stance while guy pukes is like super saiyan stance with arms by his side, only puking instead of gold waves. Actually, gold waves too.

Probably something that will never be finished beyond this point. I really should fully render something… ah well. One step at a time! Few things I’m not happy with, however it makes me happy to look at =3 Bunneh!

A week of sketches
Bonjour!
Lately I’ve been sketching a lot. The main focus is figure drawing. Okay! Here’s a bunch of stuff!
Soon I will have more character design and possibly fanart. I’ve never really drawn fanart I don’t think… so it will be a nice change and a chance to step out of my comfort zone =3
Really really happy with how this turned out. Trying to exaggerate anatomy and create a fluid drawing. Not quite there but getting really close. Gonna attempt to colour this tomorrow or at least do a clean line art. Squee! Had a lot of fun drawing this X3
Keeping a sketch book on me at all times has really kept me going to with drawing. No more excuses!

Not a sketch but I really like what I did to my moleskin.
Above are the tools I used to potentially ruin a good sketchbook. But life is about taking risks! I did try my best to avoid fucking up though. I don’t have $25 to replace it…
Below is the aftermath! I didn’t blow it. I did want a cool gear button but I couldn’t find one before my patience ran out. So I ripped one off an old pair of pants that made my butt look good AW FUCK! Oh well… and dental floss is the only thread I need. This handy mod also holds a pen in place! Because as cool as moleskins are, they seem to be lacking this obvious trait.
Now to sketch! Dammit time for work… Time for wobbly skytrain sketch!
Some practice drawing shoulders. Systematically working on areas I need work on. Can’t always draw butts. There are people attached to those butts too. Gotta draw them too =3
Used reference for this of course. Would be pointless to guess at what it looks like X3 I used to hate drawing from life. But it is really helpful. I feel like I’m learning waaay more than if I figured it out on my own. Aw gawd… I see so many things wrong with this… haha
Butts in moleskin
Got me a new moleskin sketchbook!! I bought it because it’s small enough to take with me everywhere. Yes, I’m going to be that guy. I need to draw more and I don’t want to use any excuse. Decided that I need to have a constant reminder of art. To kick off the first page, I drew a butt! and some other things that are just for fun. I have to say, it feels good to do this. My brother is also partaking in this method of “Glueing” a book to ones hand as a means to create whenever we feel like. He writes. So he bought a super expensive journal bound in leather.

Messing around with poses. These are the kinds of poses that mess with my head. Foreshortening that’s hidden…. I think this is an example of that I guess? oh well! I like it!
